Sylar still wasn't sure why he didn't take the power for his own, except the slight chance that he might not be able to use it on himself. In all honesty, even with the heroic bullshit, Ando was a better passenger than Luke was-- quieter, for one, less stupid, a little bit funny from time to time. Dropping Hiro and the Parkman baby off at a bus station with a wad of bills had been goodwill enough to get Ando come along, when it was that or "they die, you come anyway."
